Tilt-a-Rack®

Easy to install, easy to use, inexpensive.  Finally an easy way to haul your scooter!

The Tilt-A-Rack Scooter and Wheelchair Carrier makes transporting motorized wheelchairs and scooters effortless.  A revolutionary design and superior quality allows you the freedom to go anywhere you want, safely and easily.  Tilt-A-Rack Carriers easily attach to your 2" Class III or Class II hitch (may require height adaptor, see 'Helpful Hints' below), and do not have to be connected to you car battery or wired to the vehicle in any way.  Simply tilt, load, and lock and our scooter or wheelchair goes anywhere you go!

No More:

  • Cramped trunk space

  • Dealing with dangerous ramps

  • Disassembly of chair

  • Cramped garage space - tilts up when not in use

  • Licensing

  • Extra lights

  • Failing electrical components

  • Problems with non-handicap vehicles

Step 1

Step 2 Step 3 Step 4

Release latches,

pull out deck extender and tilt carrier down.

Drive scooter up

onto carrier.

Carrier automatically levels.

Push in Deck Extender

and reset latches.

Tie down scooter and

you're ready to go!

The tilt feature eliminates the need for ramps.  With the flip of a latch, the rack tilts easily toward the passenger side.  The deck extender pulls out from underneath the scooter, reducing the angle of incline.  It also reaches the curb for loading and unloading.  This feature is especially helpful when a handicap curb ramp is not available.

All of the Tilt-A-Rack models feature a special leveling bolt to compensate for hitches that might not be absolutely level.  There is a hinging device located just behind the hitch, which has three positions.  The first position keeps the rack locked in the horizontal position.  The second position allows the loaded Scooter Carrier to lift and float over dips and curbs.  The third position allows the empty rack to be folded into a vertical position for storage.
